Ok, I know it isn't summer ...yet but on Monday it was such a glorious day that we just had to soak it up for all it was worth!!
It is sort of fun moving to a whole new area and discovering all kinds of little spots to enjoy. I think the summer will be full of these little afternoon/day trips. I long for some camping but it seems just too hard to tent with little ones. We've done it the last few summers with Jil but with 2 children may be too much, especially by ourselves. In the past we've camped with other family which helps and allows us to still do some grownup stuff. We'll see but i think our outdoor adventures will only consist of a day for now!
So we ventured to Hardisty Lake! A fair sized lake with a bit of sand and fairly clean water... it definately beats Park Lake for all you Southern Albertans!
